Omporro and photovoltaics: big numbers and a serious commitment

Starting from July, Omporro will be able to say that it also produces clean air, in addition to its large catalogue of handles and furniture fittings. Thanks to the new photovoltaic system, installed in the Cucciago production plant, the company will reduce its CO2 emissions by an average of 513 tons per year.

The system has a nominal power of 700 kWp, with an anticipated production of 789,492 KWh. 3,230 polycrystalline panels will be installed. A total surface of 5,231 square meters will be covered.
These significant numbers show how Omporro really takes concrete action to improve the quality of the environment.
70% of the energy generated will be used directly by Omporro, while the remaining 30% will be fed into the electricity grid. This means that the company will directly produce clean air.
The choice to install photovoltaic panels was positively influenced by the government incentives, but the final decision and Omporro’s commitment in terms of personnel and resources represents an act of industrial foresight and environmental awareness, especially considering the system’s size and characteristics.
